Excel Training

• It was good to have some guidance and walkthrough on conditional formatting and many possibilities it had. As like many of us I am self-taught/explored the conditional formatting function, therefore it really good and important to hear from an expert.
• The explanation of what the VBA code means and how to change it if you need to.
• Learning about the error aspects to VBA coding.
• Refreshing my knowledge of the VBA environment and debug procedures.

Power BI

• The pace of the course was good allowing users to follow and ask questions if people got stuck. 
• Excellent tutor, explained everything very clearly and also made it interesting.
• The explanation of filters and evaluation context. This is something I had previously been struggling to understand.
• Seeing that data within Power BI can be manipulated further to create in-depth analysis.
• Talking through concepts then following practical example.
• The trainer was very good in explaining the technical aspects. He didn't go into too much technical jargon which can cause users to lose interest. All in all a very good course!
• Really enjoyed the course and would recommend for other colleagues to attend.
• Getting a clear overview of the different sections of Power BI and some of the terminology used.
• Working through the example by starting with the data and ending up with a Power BI report. It was useful to go through the whole process step by step to see how Power BI works. It was a great way to learn the basics.

SQL 

• Being taught the reasoning behind the way SQL is built and used. It’s easy to use others' scripts but this course helped to understand why things are written as they are and how to create and streamline own scripts.
• Having a trainer with a wide range of knowledge that could talk about context outside of just the material. The trainer was excellent, knowledgeable and happy to help.
• Explaining HOW and WHY things worked in SQL gave me a true understanding of SQL that I had not had before, despite having used it for many years. I was simply repeating a process I'd seen or been taught without fully understanding why I was doing it and if in fact there was a better way. Now I get it! Thank you.
• The trainer is an amazing Facilitator. His way of explaining things is very good and easily understood.
• The trainer is great and the pace of the workshops is a fantastic balance.
